And when they're all gone home, go to bed instead of doing dishes!

Bartender, Server (fancy talk for waitress), Hostess, Coat Check, Busser, Dishwasher, Prep Cook ... I've done it all. And done it well-- even at New Hampshire's only four diamond resort. (photo above)
Are you having a big gathering of family and/or friends for Christmas? Hanukkah? New Year's Eve? If so, I'd highly recommend that you ask Maura to get your house party-ready.
ReplyDeleteWhile I was running around shopping for our annual end-of-summer cookout, she was at my house getting things ready. I could focus on the part of the cookout that I enjoy (food and drink) while she took care of the part that I don't enjoy (cleaning). For some reason, perhaps a gene that she has that I don't, she loves cleaning and seeing the results of her hard work, so it was a win-win for both of us! ;)
Did you know that she gets down on her HANDS AND KNEES to clean tile and hardwood floors?!? She told me that she doesn't believe in mops, because they don't clean well enough. That is spoken like the person I want cleaning my house, and I think you'll agree after you see her work.

ReplyDeleteMaura worked a party I threw a few weeks back. She was great. Efficient, did some cool stuff with the food and was good about seeing that people's needs were met. Best thing though was that guests liked her - she made people feel comfortable. Thanks again, Maura.
