Think of it, once the kids go to bed I can cleeeaan!
Mature woman is also a good fit for parents of teens and tweens who are not ready to stay home alone yet but who cringe at the idea of being watched by someone not much older than they.
Also, a mature sitter, especially a parent, is better able to administer medications with confidence.
And for teens/tweens with activities I could even drive.

Part of having kids, is knowing that sometimes you will need to hire somebody to watch them. It's hard, but better when you can leave them with someone you trust.....Maura you are THAT person!
We love our teenager that watches the boys, but she is not always available. It was nice that you were in the area and we could of still gone out.
My in laws are local but, we have to cart them to their home and back late at night.
I know you are good with kids, cause Aryn keeps asking to have you back!! And I came home to a clean house.....and I keep asking Tim when we can go out again to So I can have you back!!!!
